About Me

Hey there! My name is Andrew, but my friends call me Andy, and you can, too!

I’m an easy going guy who loves to “yes, and” life. I’m a big fan of the small moments, which guide how I see wedding days. The stolen glances, the laughter after a joke, and the hugs from a loved one you don’t get to see often. To me, those moments are just as important as the glamorous side of it all.

With a decade of experience behind the camera, I do my best to keep wedding days lighthearted and fun. I’ve gotten pretty good at making people who hate the camera feel right at home by creating a space where you can be yourself in front of the lens. I understand how quickly things can become stressful, so it helps to have someone who’s been there, done that, and can guide you through it all with a smile.

I lean toward a photojournalistic approach, capturing candid, unforced moments and bringing to life the images from your day you may have missed, alongside direction to bring out your most authentic emotions when the time comes.

I like to work with people who want to work with me, not with people who are just checking a box because they need a photographer for their wedding. If that’s you, holler at me and let’s make this thing official!

A Little Bit More

  • I am from Seattle, and like everyone from the PNW, I grew up enjoying hiking, spontaneous adventures into the mountains, and traveling to new places I’ve never been before (while trying not to get lost). 3 years ago, I took that energy and brought it with me to Los Angeles.

  • Dad and SpongeBob jokes are the way to my heart

  • Archery is my sport (specifically Vegas style for you fellow archers)

  • Love Animals! I currently live with two silly little cats (one is a very orange one). I love dogs too, and if you have a dog in your wedding party, you are awesome

  • Photographed college athletics for 3 years at my alma mater, Washington State University ( GO COUGS!)

  • Currently photographing for a local Rugby team here in Los Angeles

  • Traveling more each year. I just got home from Tokyo (Yes, I did get lost on the metro one of the days, haha)

  • Every day I’m slowly turning into more of an anime nerd little by little
